Onceyou kill your “Of The Ashen Wake” mercenary, you need only loot the body to snag Hades’s Bow. You’ll need to be level 44 to use it, but that shouldn’t be an issue since the mercenary won’t appear until level 44 or later. The battle isn’t overly difficult; the mercenary is an archer that will try to shoot fire arrows at you
