Auxiliary battery question. Hi, First time posting, sorry in advance if wrong forum. I have M550i 2018 with 2VF option, Adaptive M Suspension. I want to retrofit / change / upgrade it to 2VW, Adaptive M Suspension Professional. Got a donor, everything is fine etc., but right now I am confused. G30 technical papers told me that in M550i xDrive

The auxiliary heating that I am looking for is like the indirect ventilation. If you are leaving in the morning at 7am, you can set the timer for 6.30am and it heats the car up to get rid of the frost or snow. I guess the opposite to indirect ventilation, which cools the car down in hot weather. Appreciate 0. Quote.

I checked both of my batteries and the Aux is from early 2018 and Main is from late 2016 (so original to car). I also found fault code '2228C8' which says that the Auxiliary battery has, "considerably aged and has therefore lost capacity." What should I do here? Do I go to a dealership and ask them to diagnose the issue?

This makes me think the 50ah battery is only sold though the BMW network.if someone manages to find a direct replacement please let me know. The other 90ah battery was easier to find, batteries plus sold me a 92ah duracell agm, perfect fit. Make sure you dont get the 105ah as it won't fit. Ah ok. VY4N.
